    This game looks really nice, I'm really digging the pre-rendered cut scenes, more games should do this, why did they stop!

    I started playing last night and I think the visuals are just fine.  And yeah, the cut scenes are done really nicely.  I will admit that I wish it had the free roaming, building smashing style of the last game but with the guards not being so deadly. 
     
    I think the dev was afraid that if they did the same style of game then people would call it stale or a repeat.  Eh, anyway I'm having fun and I think the story is good enough.

    cutscenes are already close enough to short films, so pre-rendered cutscenes are out of place in games most of the time.

    @Nogert: Pre-rendered stuff is really jarring, and most game engines are powerful enough to match the tech anyway.
