Resident Evil On Rails... Isn't Very Fun.*Incomplete*
So, here's how I would like to start out my review for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii. I am a huge Resident Evil fan. I've played probably every single (good) game in the series. Unfortunately, Umbrella Chronicles doesn't really fall into the category of good. I suppose it entirely possible that my extreme knowledge about Resident Evil as a franchise could've hurt my opinion of this game, but in the end, I wasn't having any fun with it.]
In case you don't know yet, UC is not the standard Resident Evil game. Yes, that does mean you won't be finding keys, solving puzzles, or conserving ammo. Sounds fun right? Well, it can be, but probably not for long. So, UC is a first person on rails (also known as light gun) shooter. If you're not familiar with the term on rails it basically mean that, like a train, you can't really control where you move. You just have your gun crosshairs up at all times, but the computer does all the moving for you. Yes, that does mean that all you do is shoot.
The game follows the storylines of Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3.
This Review is Incomplete.
Unfortunately, due to reasons I won't mention, I more than likely will not be finishing this review.
I apologize if anyone read the first few paragraphs.
