As a fellow racing enthusiast, I have to say that Forza 3 is without a doubt the pinnacle of the genre to date.

As was I; you aren't the only one. I was enthusiastic to see this scenario brought over from the last game, but it definitely wasn't as I remembered. All around not a bad level, though, and still pretty intense.

An 8.5 doesn't seem too bad, considering...  + The single player is disappointing and tiresome at best. + The multiplayer has some issues, especially with regards to limits on some of the killstreaks (I saw someone as the helicopter gunner spawn camp an entire team and kill them all at least 5 times over). + The multiplayer maps range from absolute rubbish to good enough, but I would say almost ...

The entire story was contrived beyond belief. The end, oddly enough, was the only part that really made any actual sense in terms of pacing and storytelling (although even it wasn't perfect). Most of the scenarios from the British perspective were all right, but everything involving the Americans had all the integrity of a Call of Duty fanfic authored by a thirteen year old lacking parental supervision and creative insight.

This won't just be Fox News tomorrow. As I said before, this is going to get much worse and rightfully so in my opinion. Infinity Ward will be forced to take responsibility for some of the content in the game and that's that.
