A quick little bit of education for people out there.

Here's Jeff and Vinny's Quick Look of the Persona PSP remake that covers the first 45 minutes or so of the game:

And here's a Youtube video of the first ten minutes of the original English language version of Persona released in the '90s.  Can you spot the differences?

Second one's actually quite a bit more consistant. In the remake its painfully obvious what was and wasn't updated.
Other than Jeff who thought the sprites were remade.
Also the old message boxes are prettier, but I understand the changes considering its on a handheld now.
    Also racism.

    Am I a butterfly....or a man!?

Or am I a man wondering if I'm a butterfly that's wondering if he is a man?

You can tell what's been updated and what hasn't pretty easily, but at least the updates that aren't just for graphic effect (and that you can't really compare from the shorter Youtube video) make the game much smoother to play.

And regarding Mark...yeah.  Not much to say or ask about that other than what were they thinking back then?

It's not really racism, it's more of Atlus' attempt to Americanize their game.
