I don't get why there aren't more topics on Sam Lake. He is a genius. If there are going to make a Max Payne 3 it would be totally ruined if Sam wasn't the one writting it.

I am one of the very few who wasn't very happy about the idea of the Max Payne movie because the movie wasn't well adapted as expected, so I think that Max Payne should stay in video games.

Sam should do more than writting for Remedy. He should write a screenplay for a movie or a book!

Sam Lake has been considered with other very important/famous writers/screenwriters as inspirations for many people looking to a carrier in writting and directing.

He personally has changed a bit my life in a good way and of course I'd check any book written by him!

I agree whole heartedly. Sam Lake is an absolute genius and should have had more creative control on the Max Payne movie. His writing is the main reason why I, and presumably many others, are incredibly excited for Alan Wake.

I second, third and fourth everything said! I hope its not sad but he does provide me with inspiration when I'm writing (I'm a scriptwriter). He took a dead cliched genre (film noir), put it on its head, added some laughs and made a video game.
