Not many people on Giant Bomb may be enthused by this game, but I love the Samurai Warriors series, and Chronicles looks like it should be an interesting new entry, judging by the trailer.  I'm really intrigued by what the new story mode is going to be like:

It's also good to see that the game will be including at least some of the characters that were left out of Samurai Warriors 3.  I wonder if they'll do anything to make Gracia play differently or if she'll still be reliant on her fists and Christian magic.  I'm not really sure how much character swtiching will affect things (a different sort of character swap in the Warriors Orochi series was a constant necessity), but it looks like they cooked up some nice twists for this one.  I hope it makes the launch window.

Looks fine but handheld DW/SW games have always been the last way you want to play them.

I wouldn't say that.  Warriors Orochi 2 on the PSP is actually pretty damn spiffy.

Well I don't even mean the gameplay. I mean holding a DS type handheld and playing this would be really uncomfortable.

From my experience, not really.  I've played Warriors Orochi 2 on the PSP and games like Kingdom Hearts:  358/2 Days on the DS, and I found neither game to be particularly taxing.
