A solid puzzler
There's not a whole lot that's worthy of note in the game. It's a very straightforward puzzle game, I don't know if there's enough freedom to call it an adventure game. The linearity can work to the game's advantage, as you'll never have that frustrating walk around old areas wondering if you've missed anything. The puzzles are better than you might expect, more varied too. None of them should really send most people cowering for a FAQ. A couple of critical spelling mistakes could cause some frustration if you're not careful though!
The problems with the game are par for the course with a port of a low budget European PC game. Poor performance on the Xbox doesn't match with the short draw distance and low poly count of the characters and environment. The voice acting punches above it's weight, but a few clangers from incidental characters let it down.
It's easy to recommend on the Xbox due to the lack of games in this genre, but it's far from noteworthy on the PC. The price plummeted so quickly after launch that it doesn't seem wise to jump in right away, but it'd be a good pickup for adventure fans later on who've already played Telltale's catalogue.
Final word though, watch out for the three missable achievements and the couple of glitched ones. The game really doesn't bear a second playthough if you don't get them all first time!
