I binged through the first 12 eps over the weekend so I can listen to the last ep and was ready for this. Let's go!

Another fantastic episode, but with the podcast being bi-weekly, covering just three episodes feels a little slim.

I started this episode and immediately had to pause it and start watching the show. You guys are awesome, this podcast is great fun, and I sorely wish it could be more frequent because I love it so much!

This podcast had me grinning like an idiot at work, really hope it can lasts more seasons!

The Episode 6 cut of Roundabout was the moment that I was truly sold on the show. Up until that point I was kind of just... mildly entertained by the ludicrous playground logic of all the fighting, but the guitar refrain transitioning into Zeppeli accepting his fate showed me that the series was capable of a depth of (simple, but genuine) emotion despite being mostly a vehicle for dumb nonsense.

I've watched all of the seasons of JoJo at this point, but this one specific version of the ED is still a very vivid high point in my memory of my time with the series.

The Jack the Ripper fight is, in my opinion, when the series becomes Jojo's. When that man shoots out of a horse...just incredible.

I really like John and Tam pointing out how influential the series is. Is that a JoJo reference? It is more often than you expect.

I re-subbed to giant bomb premium just for this podcast, before I realized that it wasn't a premium podcast. Ah well, you all deserve the money.

It'd be nice if this was a weekly series, or if you could convince Jeff Gerstmann to join, but I understand if it's not feasible. Just want to say thanks!

Another thing I notice now that I'm re-subbed, the powerbomb cast isn't listed as it's own podcast series? I know it's not ongoing, but there's enough episodes that it seems weird

Should we be watching the sub or dub version of this? I started watching the dub version that is on Funimation, but they seem to mention the Japanese voice actors in the podcast. Does it truly matter?

It's really not a huge deal either way, but I prefer the sub because Dio's japanese voice is just impossible to beat.

I don't think there are any references to actual song lyrics, as Araki isn't really that proficient in English even nowadays. He mostly likes songs' vibes, and outside of naming conventions I can only remember one time when a song name was used in an unrelated context.

It's a joke how they're taking two weeks to cover a whopping three episodes. Someone just casually watching JoJo since episode 0 of this podcast was uploaded could be long done with Parts 1&2 in Season 1 by now. Jeff and Dan were covering 5 episodes of DBZ a week and were being infinitely more in-depth about the show and their notes with only half the people that this podcast has. Guess it's just par for the course for modern GB to make content as lazily as possible

Ok this podcast is fucking fantastic, you guys have really great chemistry together. I was honestly not hyped about this pod upon announcement, but I fucking love this.
