I'm a bit behind on watching these, but I had to comment on the images that have been used for the last few episodes...they've been fantastic.

No joke, I've been prototyping a short game predicated around hand drawn animation for a couple years, it's always so weird to look at older media and discover your idea has been done, and done really well. Also, as facepalmy as that feels, it's inspiring, and boy oh boy I did not expect to say that about anything Asura's Wrath. Pretty ambitious stuff, I am really really glad you guys did this so I could finally see this game, *clink*

I'm wondering. How much does a Bottle of Portuguese Red Wine cost over there. Cause i can get them pretty cheap, and I know its very good, cause when European Tourists come to dine at PT restaurants they always feel uneasy when picking the wine, cause its so much cheaper compared to their local prices, but once they try it they ask the waiter why its so cheap.

With all due respect, could someone get rid of that big ugly "we're now on Instagram" banner? I think it detracts from the upcoming schedule or other icons.

I now am fairly confident Asura has some rage issues.

Watching this while going through Borderlands 3 as Amara feels appropriate. I haven't fisted this intensely since what did you really think I was going to admit here?

For a fun Drinking game.

Drink everytime a certain character replaces any meaningful explanation of why they did what they did with "The cause".

That is, to me, the most unintentionally hilarious part of this game. It's like a parody of itself. "I did it all for....the cause!"

I really appreciate the investigative reporting into the Chips Ahoy! exclusive Gears 5 content. I saw that in the store yesterday and was very confused.

Also, the thumbnail images for this series are my favorite on the site. Seeing a new one on a Monday morning never fails to brighten my day.

This game is such a gem.

lol Pretty sure following Ben's advice about Lock-on would work a little better for you there, Jason. After all, his advice about heavy attacks were pretty spot on!

Also why skip the slideshow/story bits in between the episodes? This game is 10% "game" and 90% "presentation." Would have liked to know what the spider was going to say there :/

I have been purposefully holding off on this just like I did God Hand because I love the game and just want to shotgun everything. I wanted to pop in to say though that the thumb pics are all gold and this one of Asura as some sort of sommelier might be my favorite so far.

The true ending paid DLC was bullshit, but... boy did it it deliver

That was so crazy and insane bullshit, but yes, the DLC was SO good.

The craziest thing to me, honestly, is that they announced it so early. If they didn't tell anyone, I would have finished the game proper and thought the ending was fine just with a potential for a sequel kind of cliff-hangerish thing. Then they could have just surprised people with the DLC and call it an epilogue or something (similar to how Dragon Age: Inquisition basically wrapped up their major cliff hanger with DLC that no one knew about when the game proper ended).
