Almost made it to the best end credits in a videogame.

Gotta be honest, some of the hand to hand combat looks neat especially your own dial-a-combo... but this game hasn't looked fun once.

Goofy, neat, novel, a bit funny, it has character, sure. Great animations. However, they seem to have been fighting the controls the entire time, and not just the stomps not working. Mostly it looks less challenging and more punishing, in a bad way.

This is coming from a "let me climb the DMC difficulties" type stylish action player: I'm glad it's them playing this and not me.

Your set of moves looks optimal and he seems not to be able to dodge after you side step and restart the combo.

One final push you guys. Any chance you guys do it live? Or convince a crew member to join in on the FINALE?

Imagine trying to get good at DMC playing a couple hours every other week. Ben's done a decent job learning the game but this isn't representative of actually playing the game at all. They never really got good at canceling out of stuff or using the front dodge, they never figured out how to do the heel drop, the shoryu or the air launcher because they didn't bother to read the manual, they don't really use the radar, they don't know how to selectively aggro with taunts, they constantly use the worst roulette moves because they forgot what they do and don't just look at their description in the menu.

I've been enjoying this series and I'm not sitting here getting mad that they aren't playing "properly", but as a God Hand devotee I don't think anyone should look at this gameplay as a representation of how this game plays.

Touching Simon and Garfunkel tribute, Ben.

This is nowhere near even competent God Hand. There's a ton of cool stuff you can do in this game and it has some of the most ridiculous crowd control options out there but pretty much every low level player is gonna be a ton of "mash square and guard break and backflip to dodge everything" because it's a daunting game with a lot going on and the path of least resistance often gets results. Plus playing this for an hour every fortnight is gonna make it really hard to experiment consistently bc you're constantly trying to re-remember everything. They haven't even figured out the running kick or the slide properly and those are literally one button press (or even counterhits for that matter, which is the single most consistent way to deal damage).

Playing this game at DIE level is ridiculously fun even if it is brutally difficult.

I love this series so much.

Damn, 12 episodes and they still haven't figured out how to use the dodge and guard breaker moves (Ben is better at this, not constantly getting counter hit. Jason just seems to mash buttons. And please learn to dodge instead of just back-flipping all over the place)

Parts of that Gorilla fight music remind me of the Airwolf theme!

Currently playing through Devil May Cry 5 and I just realized how much Nero and this main character (forget his name.) are very much a like.

Their mannerisms, their clothes and style... And 5 has a sort of God hand.

Clearly DMC 5 is God Hand 2. Capcom granted your wish guys.
