Red is the player character in Red and Blue (the trainer in Yellow is meant to be Ash, but it's also technically Red.) Red then shows up as the ultimate final boss in Gold/Silver/Crystal and he shows up again in the post game of Sun and Moon.

Exciting as always! I know it's hard to get it scheduled but i'm hoping there will be one day or two in the evening where i can get in on the action!

@benpack jfc dude, check your mic levels! It was picking up that thing you were fiddling with, as well as mouth and other misc sounds. Bad levels happen a lot with GB West content, and as someone with misophonia, it makes watching West’s content torturous for me; thankfully East is what keeps me a premium subscriber.

Can we get this series on YouTube or something? Giant Bomb's video player rarely works correctly.

@ryvvn: Hey buddy, that's not on Ben at all. That mic issue was a me problem! Bit of a hectic morning so I couldn't get everything dialed in and didn't have a set of headphones ran to the desk. We'll work on the audio issues so everyone is all good moving forward!

Super glad to see the return, and I agree with Jan's sort of aversion to the much more complicated combat system though.

This is the biggest, "hey kids don't try this at home" moment I've had for awhile reading the comments. I've been on coffee for over a decade but 4 shots of espresso is some mafia boss ish right there.

Generally I dont see this happening on Giant Bomb streams

But I cant stand the noises someone makes when playing with their mouth and this stream was filled with it from Ben, had to stop watching.

@janman Pretty sure you might have heard this already, but G-Darmanitan is way better with Gorilla Tactics than Zen Mode since it's basically acts as a free Choice Band. Darmanitan isn't very sturdy so Belly Drum is basically juat setting it up to be KOed, so you might as well go all in with a Scarf and Flare Blitz, Icicle Crash, Earthquake/Superpower, and U-Turn.

@heyitsbeeb: Yeahhhh buddy! I caught the Zen Mode Darmanitan and really wanted to use it. Gorilla Tactic darm has led to some full on sweeps in some of my singles matches.
