2 Fallout 2 Furious - Episode 04

Loving this series! This was a real formative game from my youth and it's great seeing it through new eyes. Keep it up!

Still loving this series. There's so much to do in this game, this one could end up being an endurance run for Ben.

I was just thinking about how these episodes are going to be lost to time in a couple of months because @benpack keeps forgetting to tag them to the wiki page, but it happened even way earlier than I thought. =D

I've tried using the tag system available to users, for this series specifically but also for a few other videos. But from what I understand that system only works if enough people engage with it, And I fear most people barely know it even exists.

@benpack Its very funny to me that you whacked a mob boss in New Reno without even noticing. Roll the video to 1:47:00 and check the message window. You hitmaned him with your sticky fingers. Wasn't sure whether to tell you this or just wait for you to get back to New Reno but it could have been confusing if you had no idea it happened.

Ugh. This game is so good. This playthrough is so good. I need more.

The only bad part about this is that I’m constantly tempted to install Fallout 2 and start playing myself once again. I really do wish they had actually managed to make Fallout 3 - as in Black Isle - because this was such a great yet short lived run. A really good isometric RPG with fun tactical turn based combat is not something you see very often these days, and when you do it’s almost always some form of fantasy.

@toxicantidote: I've been tagging these eps too but nothing's happened, not sure how many people have to do it before the label sticks.

@humanity: Have you tried the Shadowrun games? They're not perfect, but I found them really fun.

Edit: they're kinda light on RPG elements though, now that I think about it...

@behnrude: I did and for whatever reason I found the writing absolutely insufferable. It was the really acclaimed one too, Dragonfall. At the time I felt it sounded like crude fanfiction but I dunno a lot of people really love it especially for the writing. Maybe it's just not for me.
