I’m legitimately surprised at how much I enjoyed this album. Give me the alternate timeline in which Billy Joel achieved stardom through this band instead.

EDIT: I know you're probably not actually soliciting any suggestions, but I just want to make people aware of Peter Scott's Conception, which is a concept album about using prayer to heal infertility. I particularly recommend listening to "Be Healed" and "Trying to Conceive".

I always thought the somber tone of piano man was because he knew he was a "loser" like everyone else, but it's really fucking funny to think that he's insulting his peers out of ignorance.

Billy Joel freaking out in Moscow in '87 is one of my favorite on-stage artist meltdown things ever. Also Jeremy's parents' Billy Joel story is incredible.

I really keep meaning to rewatch Justified since they announced it was coming back. The only problem is that I remember the Michael Rapaport season being an absolute chore to get through. Otherwise an exceptionally fun pulpy show.

Didn't Billy Joel just rip off all of his popular songs and that's why he's able to sound so diverse? I thought that was a thing.

Coming in like a week late to say that there are some great two-piece metal bands! Year of the Cobra are just a drummer and a bassist/vocalist and they're brilliant.
