I think the part where it is up its own ass is the best part of kingdom hearts 2.

i was happy when alexa stuck it to patrick and said ff9 is the best of the ps1 era ff games. 8 is overrated imo. not as much as 7 but 8 is held highly for reasons i truly do not understand nor will i ever. i was gettin real bummed out when they started talkin about kingdom hearts....i still like that series a good bit. almost got a bit too brutal for a bit there, but the criticism is fair. alexa is right when she says 2 is better than 1 though. if they really wanna talk true game when it comes to ps1 tops rpg series then it's suikoden (1 or 2 because either is right).

- The Kingdom Hearts storyline can be summed up in one sentence:

Everybody is connected to everybody and Leonard Nimoy is behind everything.

- Honestly my criticism of Kingdom Hearts haters is this: they always like to talk about how off the rails the story is (which I agree it is) but they never talk about the gameplay, because the gameplay is where I still find enjoyment in the series. Even still I know it is not for everybody.

Damn, Patrick went in on T. Nomura. There's no way the persistent failings of latter-day SE are his fault. It's a team failure. They might look bad because of him but there's plenty of games that look shit and play fine or even great. There's something else going on at that company.

FF8 is the only FF game I've liked. I hated VII and X.

The way I viewed Aiden Pierce is that he's a guy that you're supposed to see is wrong. Everyone tells him about how he's putting the very people he cares about in danger and they're the characters you're supposed to sympathize with.

Wouldn't that mean Leonard Nimoy is everyone? But that means...

Honestly, why do they keep limiting the Best Final Fantasy Game discussions to the Playstation era? FF6 on the SNES blows them all out of the water.

Hmm. I have a nostalgic love of SNES Mario Kart, but I think I like Double Dash quite a bit. I think the next in line might be Mario Kart DS, or 8 (haven't really gotten into it yet).

EDIT - Man I'm pretty much in agreement with everything Alexa drops in this one.

I guess... selling over a million units per game along with making games which rate well don't count any more.... I mean its not like a Mr Jeff Gerstmann gave 'Sonic Rush' a 8.2 or a Mr Ryan Davis giving the squeal 'Sonic Rush Adventure' a solid 8 (the list goes on you have Sonic and All Stars Racing and it's sequel or perhaps Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations, both big sellers and well liked by fans and critics) but nah they don't count do they, the only ones that count are the 'bad' ones like that one that came out over 7 years ago :/

Look i'm not saying its perfect, its not there have been bad games in resent years like Black Knight and in some circles Sonic Lost World... but please do some research when you talk about a franchise and don't just go with the common 'internet' view

P.S.

The 'Sonic Cycle' was broken by Sonic Colours almost 4 years ago so get with the times... but please shit on something that is both good (if not great in some cases) and something lots of people love when you have little knowledge of what you are talking about (last time I watch this show)
