Film & 40s: BOO(ze)!: Hausu

I just watched this for the first time and I think this going on the annual Halloween movie list.

The piano rape-eating Melody is still by far the wildest thing I've ever seen in film ever.

Well, that was definitely... a movie.

I love all the film and boozes equally, but horror time is when you watch some of my favorites. I'm super looking forward to this.

@chunkmassuhflex: HBO Max doesn't have a Criterion section by name, it's actually under the TCM label on the apps but many of the films in the TCM section are Criterion editions. You can also maybe start a free trial of Criterion Channel; Criterion's own streaming service which has it. It's a great streaming service if you love all things art house and Criterion releases.

I saw this movie today and was absolutely blown away. I've never seen anything like it before. Just the way it was filmed, goddamn, movie oozes style and atmosphere. Loved it, am struck by it. I need to re-watch it a few times, one time is gonna be now with commentary from this great crew, because I need to see how they react to this.

Inspired movie choice. I don't know how I feel about the film, but I'm happy I watched along with these folks.
