Amazing ending, really cool list. I've been playing Rayman on my Vita to and he's right---it's way better there. So fun. Cool to see Thirty Flights get props too.

David Jaffe sir, I've been playing the games you have been making since, well since you've been making them. Don't stop making your awesome games please. Also, you rock.

The list is great, some real out of the blue sort of games (well, not if you are a PC gamer or Mobile gamer I suppose) but I agree with most on the list. Thirty Flights of Loving was a terrific little gem this year.

i have to say- sometimes jaffe's abrasive doesn't-give-two-fucks attitude gets on my nerves, but i have huge respect for him as a developer and professional. this is a well reasoned, solid list- and i'm really looking forward to what the future holds for him.

I just played "Thirty Flights of Loving" based on Jaffe's praise for its storytelling. It is a curious game. More of an experiment in presenting a narrative in videogame form than anything else. Playing the game was not a remarkable experience for me but I am glad someone like Jaffe is paying attention to games like these. Something special can definitely be done with a 30 flights narrative style combined with a bigger budget and more fleshed out characters.

Well this made me go buy Thirty Flights of Loving. I probably won't think as highly of it but it looks promising based on the weird art style. And yeah, that ending was adorable.
