E3 2011: Rayman: Origins Stage Demo

I'm so pumped for this game that it's not even funny.

Rayman has evolved from a sophisticated, serious yet slightly cartoony plat-former to this... I hope they know what they're doing.

Well my faith in this game has been restored though I doubt I'll ever see the sequel I once hoped for from this franchise.

Wow, Rayman is looking really impressive. Its going to be so much fun.

The hosts were a bit...cheesy. But the game looks good. Remind me of castle crashers mixed with super mario.

Check it: there is a pedal-powered airship. That is the best thing. And dat smooth animation! Man alive!

The hosts weren't great but the game looks fun and beautiful. I'm guessing this is only their first stage performance though.

Kind of reminds me of ren and stimpy for some reason.

I loved Rayman 1 and 2. Really looking forward to this one. The art style is spectacular and I'm glad they are keeping things bizarre. This series is meant to be weird (in a good way).

This is literally the game I want to play the most out of E3

If the game takes place before Rayman, what's Brosquito doing there? They only become friends after you beat him.

Reminds me a lot of New Super Mario Brothers and even Fancy Pant Adventures. SMB being the turning into bubbles and what looks like the 3 star coins you have to collect each level. Fancy Pant Adventures just being the running down a slope making you go faster and the way they swam in the water.  
I wasn't having much high hopes for this game with its switch from XBLA/PSN to retail but looks pretty good. 
 
Also love how the guys like Johnny V but in terms of I'm going to lose my job for dying in a demo.

This seems like the right direction to take Rayman.

Looks great, can't wait to play it.

i really like the art style and the variation of the plat forming. swimming, being chased, flyin, etc.

I don't suppose Ubisoft might release a high-def remaster of Rayman 2: The Great Escape as a tie-in?
