I haven't watched the entire thing, but did Jeff explain why he's not using raytracing? I thought the whole reason why he wanted to download Minecraft was because they added RTX support to it and he got a new GPU.

Jeff's flow was very sick and on point in this track.

@goosemunch: He can't get it to download. He mentions it at some point in the video.

Which version are they using? I think it's the Java version. Does that version have the official raytracing? It probably has the modded shader pack that adds raytracing, I'm talking about the thing that Nvidia and MS made.

I started to combine all these together in After Effects but that 9.5 hour render/encoding time changed my mind real quick. Also the fact that I'd have no good way to share it with premium members.

Buuuuut for those of you without multiple monitors looking to watch all these together—or like me with multiple monitors but still looking to use the main one with these videos on the side—I highly recommend Awesome Video Player. It's just a free video player program that lets you open a bunch of files together and control them all together or independently (for syncing purposes) in one window. You literally just hit number keys corresponding to the videos to play/pause them or hold to fullscreen them. Space to play/pause all.

It's legitimately free, too. No bullshit adware or whatever. There's a paid version with more features but just for this it's perfect.

Here's what it looks like in action. Usually the controls are hidden but I brought them all up to show the timestamps synced to Vinny's voice. Watching it now I need to play around with that a little and try syncing it to someone's action in the game instead maybe. This part was much easier in After Effects.

Edit: Better option for syncing is actually when Jan places the first flower before the clap. Everyone is facing him so you can sync to that action.

Where are people seeing all the other perspectives? I watched vinny's perspective after it was uploaded to the site yesterday and would have loved to do some picture in picture magic with the other people's screens too.

Also, this was super fun and would love to see more minecraft content in the futur!

Yeah, I loved this stream! I hope you guys do more minecrafting! There is so much stuff to do. There has been literally tons of stuff added over the years. Can't wait til they get to the nether and go outdoor exploring.

The actual gameplay of Minecraft is nothing I thought I'd wanna watch but this is a great video to have in the background while I work. Agree with the other posts, videos like this with most of the staff and not just two or three are really great.

@robo: Thanks for the heads up on Awesome Video Player. The "playback speed" options are something I've needed for a while. I wish I could just put two videos side-by-side in the middle of the screen though.

Since they mentioned mods, I'd love to see them tackle one of the FTB packs at some point. Revelation is super fun and adds a ton of different mod packs to dive into. Vinny could even get his conveyor belt setup going with all the Immersive Engineering stuff!

Does anybody have a direct link to how I can find out how police can see through walls? The link in the video doesn't seem to be working.

Fired up my old laptop, saw the Giant Bomb icon in my bookmark bar and clicked it. Episode 15 was featured. So I found episode 1 and joined premium as fast as I could. Heard the "You did it" audio clip, which made me laugh and was worth every penny for that alone. It's been roughly 6 years since I've been on this website about videogames. It's like coming home to some old friends. Glad this brand new game called Mine and craft? Got us all back together. :)
