Whoever labeled this video under FTL needs to fix it- that's the not the correct FTL. Also, seeing Brad react to pouring boiling water over a dude's face was the best part of this entire marathon.

Oh man...at the same time, that Hotline Miami segment was great to watch, but I can only imagine the chat screaming their heads off at how carefully Brad was approaching enemies, at least in the beginning.

...also, there's lock-on-target function? That would've made my life somewhat easier...though at least I added some extra challenge for myself by not noticing it!

Oh my gawd these soundtracks. I was bathing in the FTL glory and remembering how awesome that was... and then Hotline comes along with something that might even trump FTL's musical greatness. Two of my favourite games of last year, too.

EDIT: I had legitimately, in all my time spent playing Hotline, never seen that boiling water execution before. Nice, Bradley.

Haven't gotten to the Hotline Miami part but watching Brad play FTL is hurting my brain. I know it takes a while to wrap your head around all the systems so I don't blame him for that but every time he was right next to a store and spent some or all of his money before seeing what the store offered I just wanted to scream at the screen. And it's okay not realizing that you need to both upgrade a system and then buy the power to use it, but once he learned that he still spent all his scrap upgrading a system he wouldn't be able to use for another three or four jumps.

Yeah, not sure why but he just didn't understand that game it seemed like. Repairing his shield with all his guys while saying he wants to get the #@!$ out of there (no one in the cockpit) is weird; shields are repaired but he doesn't switch them on; not using blast doors he just upgraded to his advantage; doesn't heal his crew members mid-fight... he died in very easy scenario's. But he didn't play it in a long time and probably just forgot the basics of the game.

It's confusing and takes a while to get the hang of so things like not using the blast doors correctly is not a huge deal to me. It more upset me when he figured something out and then proceeded to not make use of it. Still it is a really tough game to get the hang of so I don't blame him. Just super frustrating as someone who knows how to play the game watching him.

No, brad. You should never, ever stop moving in Hotline Miami. But don't worry, it'll come in time. And then you'll feel like a bad person.

Cool, Hotline Miami. I wondered if Brad was going to play any good games during his stream.

@y2ken: YES! I recently saw the boiling water mentioned in a review of the game, and honestly just chalked it up as "ah, it's an easy way to convey the kind of frivolously graphic violence gleefully depicted in the game." When I went to see Brad playing this for his first time and saw that execution, I threw my arms up in the air with shock and joy haha. I wonder how much other shit I missed in my many hours of playing.
