Game Mess Mornings 08/14/23

The last game I played on CRT was The Darkness for PS3. The subtitles were basically unreadable.

I personally don't care about 2 to 4 players split-screen modes in racing games especially Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo series so I wouldn't mind about that for Forza Motorsport (2023).

I think the last game I played on a CRT was Resident Evil Zero on Gamecube.

Have to admit the leak talk surprised me. I had always been under the impression that the vast majority of leaks were company-orchestrated as way of both upping buzz as well as testing waters and reactions. Guess I have to adjust my thinking.

Wait wait wait! We're okay that split-screen won't be included in Forza because.....everybody has their own system? Maybe that's what the marketing data says, but if I want to sit on the couch and race my wife and kid(s) for a fun family night then we need someone on the PC, someone on the Xbox, and then to purchase a second and maybe third xbox/pc? That's reasonable because they really wanted the graphics to look better?! I think I'm either misunderstanding something or the market today is absolutely nothing like me at all.
