Jeff, I can't imagine how you are feeling right now, or have been feeling for a while. No matter what future might bring, you still have an amazing wife and daughter (and soon to be born baby, congrats!), and awesome group of friends that works or worked with you, and a ton of us "fake people on the internet" that somehow cares deeply for you and all that you do! I am excited to see what you will come up with next!

I'm definitely in the camp of "I'll follow everyone wherever they go" but that doesn't mean I won't stick around for Jeff too! I'm here for the change and can't wait to see what he and the crew have in store for us!

Seen many people come and each of them has brought me so much. Followed each of them, Patrick and Austin, Drew, Abby and Dan. Still missing Ben.

I know you have a policy of not reading the comments, but as sad as I am about the three leaving, I am very excited for the future of the site. I think your statement about making a more inclusive space with a more diverse set of voices is very promising of what's to come.

I’m amazed they were brave enough to risk having another kid at their age after all the problems they went through the first time. Not to mention the world being a shitshow.

I had one of those electronic phone organisers, used it once and never again. I then replaced it with a Psion Organiser 3a, because it could do the same and but it also had all the UK maps on it.

I enjoyed this. Even with everything going on Jeff seems excited for what's to come and that makes me feel better too.

I'm glad this video has confirmed that Jeff Gerstmann is still a threat, the initial news was absolutely crushing but the talk of new plans has given me a little comfort going forward. Really excited to hear there will be a good mix of contributors in the future, that sounds like it'll keep things exciting and I'd love to hear some new voices on the site.

Cant wait to see the next era of Giant Bomb!

I can't thank you enough for what you created and I really do feel like I owe it to you to at least check in on whatever this site becomes. But Vinny and Brad, in particular, are completely irreplacable and I have some deep reservations about where this place is headed and whether it can retain my interest without them.

All strange, all the time, baby.

Jeff I am going to be watching/listening to anything you do until one of us croaks. You've been instrumental in building such a great thing here that I won't be going away.

This is why I come to Giant Bomb. But its also impossible to explain to someone who has no idea what GB is.. why I just watched a guy clean his garage and read receipts from 20 years ago.

But when Jeff said 'this isn't some state of the union.. this is me with this awesome Max Headroom mug I just found' it made me feel better and also feel better about the future of GB.

Guess for the future of the site: Giant Bomb will change direction and become a "garage finds" site, not a gaming site. It'll just be Jeff and others going through their garages.

But actually, I have faith that Jeff and the others staying on (the ones we know like Jan and Jason as well as those behind the scenes) will do right by the community in whatever is to come.

We'll be here with you Jeff!

Haven't had the courage to watch either of the podcasts. I'll start with this one instead. Life goes on.

I actually lost my copy protection wheel for Pool of Radiance. I wonder if that's the one I lost.

I have been following you guys since launch, and the first of second week in after I got my first job I bought a premium membership and have been refreshing it since. This whole crew have been amazing, both the ones that were here from the start but you have also showed that you are great at hiring new people. I have seen some weird internet culture hate in the forums but that's just weird internet culture, maybe us who enjoy this have to be more vocal with the support just so you are reminded of it.

I'm not going anywhere! I'm here for the Jeff, Jan, Jason and Rorie-content and to see whatever new hires and new plans you have. That thermos and cup were sick btw.

If the apocalypse comes and Jeff has to do GB over ham radio, I'll still be subscribed and mail him my 5 bottlecaps per month.

I feel so bad for him. I know he will pull through but he had some of his oldest friends leave him and abandon the ship they have been sailing together for over a decade. I am a huge Jeff fan now.
