Hmm. Where did that clip of Shay speaking about his life aboard the ship come from? I played through the game and never heard any exposition like that, which frankly kind of bothered me.

Also, they send these out to CBS radio affiliates to play. I'm guessing it will be on the actual radio after the game comes out.

I always wonder if people come to the site based on Jeff's radio voice and whether they get hooked or not.

Actually, I write it and read it, someone else produces it. These spots typically air the following week, so I write things a little bit in the FUTURRRRREEEEEEE. Normally not a problem because we're usually behind a few days when it comes to getting the files from Stephen (the producer) and getting them into our system. Just imagine you're listening to an EARLY EXCLUSIVE ahead of those radio jerks.

@jeff: Well jeff to be fair, compaired to the people that still listen a lot to the radio. We are in the future.

I think the other VA's need more love, too. They may not be Elijah Wood, Jack Black, or Wil Wheaton, but they pulled off their roles in the game just as well.

I heard one of these while listening to radio program Coast to Coast AM once. It was weird and unexpected.

One of them has been a preeminent name in the developing field of study concerning chemtrails and associated phenomena

The other is my shitty punchline.

But seriously how far back do they really go? I dare you to try to find a picture showing them in the same room. It's very difficult and I doubt it means anything, but huh... weird.

I noticed this happening consistently and with intensity on Beyond Two Souls coverage. People would get excited about Ellen Page, then get REAL excited about Willem Dafoe, and then... kinda just wait until the next Dafoe. It's depressing but I guess recognizabiliity really is actively pursued by consumers. There were other actors interspersed throughout the story who were probably some of the high points of that game, and they rarely get mentioned. To be fair, some of the supporting cast were jarringly mediocre, AND Ellen Page and Dafoe generally did OK to good so...

@oi_blimey: I figured it was something like that. I never watched any trailers or other media coverage before the game's launch. It sucks that I missed little story details like that. The beginning was a little clumsy and awkward because of the lack of context, but the rest of the game was great fun. Can't wait for part 2.
