The FOB stuff they're talking about is grossly exaggerated. If you build it up moderately well, which only costs in-game money, invaders will fail far more often than not, especially if you have a bunch of supporters (almost assuredly random people) who are incentived to help defend your FOB because they get a ton of stuff out of it.

And the actual act of invading is the most intense and exciting thing in the entire game outside of a good Cloak and Dagger multiplayer game (which is infinitely more interesting than faux team deathmatch and the other one), and far more challenging than anything in the campaign.

Jeff might be pleased to know that Yoshi's Woolly World does have an alternate control scheme with a Wii Remote that allows you to aim the egg with the gyro sensor. Why that option isn't available with the Wii U GamePad, maybe Good Feel feared for people's wrists.

in the new xbox one UI you can press the right trigger and get to the pins. Also this last build has been real rough, it was running way faster before. Hopefully the one tonight will fix that problem.

FOB invasions are less of a deal now. You need to actively invade people to get invasions to worry about. I'm in the C ranks from just successful automated defenses and it's like 2-3 invasions a week that I get tops. MB coins are no big deal either.

If people figure out serious FOB exploits for the unhacked consoles, then FOB invasions can become an issue.

And what's wrong with selling visual emotes and making an extra buck? Is that taking away from everything else? Is offering hats and camo colours for MB coins in MGO3 wrong and bad? Is offering real money exchanges for in-game currencies in racers, even if it's not telling you to do that at every moment like Forza 5, a bad thing?
