my proposition for a segment in the BLLSL is "Building a site with Dave with your host Dave "Snide" Snider". Can't wait to see the pax panel I've been refreshing the site since saturday even though I knew it wouldn't be up that quick, I'm just cray.

I could probably recite the song from the first level of Sonic Adventures 2 in its entirety right now. Don't ask me why but I could do it. 

I'm not sure why Jeff has so much distaste for Up Your Arsenal. Sure the humor was a bit worn out by the third game but Dr. Nefarious is the best (or at least the funniest) villain of the series in my opinion. TNT this week should be either Fall of Cybertron or Star Craft 2. Or have a scrub league for either Battle Tetris or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I'm gonna say that this video is yet another example of dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

I waited for PS3 rather than buying 360 specifically for Ratchet & Clank. MGS was a consideration too but Ratchet was the reason. I did not regret my decision.

I'm just hoping we get some insanity from special guest Jamie and Adam's Will Smith. I'm thinking he needs some liquid nitrogen and a case of beer.

@ashbash: It's a switch. It looks very much like the Monoprice-branded Gigabit switch sitting on my desk, but I imagine that's just a generic OEM switch anyone could slap their brand on.

I'll be kind of curious to see what Jeff thinks of Ratchet 1 after he replays it, because I really think he has some rose-tinted glasses for that game. Yeah, when it came out it was special, but every Ratchet since then has surpassed it as a game, even Tools of Destruction, which I didn't even like very much.

I didn't hear mention of premium content. What is happening Giant Bomb?

I wonder if they're set up at all to do a TNT like Dead Island? The co-op TNTs were hilarious but they kind of just started close to moving time, so there haven't been many. Hopefully you guys can get some sort of set up in the office like that and there can be more co-op TNTs, even if just to mix things up a bit from the standard TNTs before there are big games coming out every week. Or maybe that'd even be a Borderlands 2 thing after that comes out?

Probably wouldn't fit the format.

By the way, will the stream of Jeff playing Flashback show up on the site?

Jeff said it would probably not show up on the site, but it's archived at twitch.tv. I think it was at /gbjg or /jggb or something like that.

It seemed like this was the year GB took over PAX.

First, you had the GB line insanity, then during the Harmonix panel, 'Jeff Gerstmann' was mentioned more often than any actual Harmonix employee, then during the Canceled/Prototype panel, Brad Muir went on about how he was making a game about Love and spoofed on the name change.

As to the Ratchets, none of of them hold up perfectly. The original really suffers from no modern lock-on mechanism, and Ratchet is a giant dick for half the game ('Clank, you are naive and were taken by someone, RAAAAGE'). GC has too much weapon repetition (there's, what, three rocket launchers), too much grinding is necessary to buy all those repeated weapons, and shields break the game. UYA was getting repetitive, and really, who was still making Clinton jokes in '04?

If I turn up my volume it's loud as shit. I'm not sure why it's so low for you. It sounds fine.
