Playdate: In Silence (11/18/2020) [Vinny's View]

I've always thought positional mic audio was cool. I'm gkad games are finally using it, but it's too bad it's probably just a phase.

I loved this. This was sooo intense and hilarious at the same time. Even if it meant you guys couldn’t really talk this was still incredible.

I wonder if Vinny's colorblindness made it more difficult to be the monster. Most of the screen and UI elements are red.

Is Jan cosplaying as a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure character with that hair?

This game seems really neat and the positional audio is great for this type of game but it would be kind of cool if they put voice modulation on the player that is the monster. Maybe they could have different monster voice modulations that you can choose from.

From 1st person that creature's breathing sounds like the world's longest bong rip.

The game should not show who's talking when you're near, since you don't always hear someone talking even when they're near. It could also lead to the monster trying to impersonate the humans.

I love when a game is able to naturally evoke horror movie tropes. Them all deciding to split up, then Ben accidentally scaring Vinny at about 10:30 - great stuff.

Poor Abby couldn't see with that light! I wonder what a good solution would be.. Maybe a lower power and then brighten footage in the camera even if its a little more noisy?

Man, the creature running into the house to turn off the TV and ignoring Vinny was perfect.

I don't think vinny needs to worry that you not being able to talk in this game makes it less interesting to stream, this video was great!

Another fun one. It feel like they are scraping the bottom of the bowl at the end of it with how this game is in early access but its made for some fun videos.

I definitely don't mind that part of it at all as a change of pace. I personally find how Abby just constantly is yapping while Vinny is quiet hilarious in these videos.

@joelalfaro: maybe increasing gamma in game and turning up your monitor brightness would be simpler to try

Fun game. Vinny needs to check his glasses prescription. He missed one of the other three right in front of him several times.

Honestly more stuff like this because it these kinds of vids have been awesome.

Mainly, just more streams with a bunch of folks together playing. I eat this shit up.

I remember playing a Halo 2 custom game with the proximity mic. One guy would have the sword and have the halloween music playing through their mic while everyone else couldn't use weapons and had to run and hide. You'd be in your spot and suddenly the music comes on. Honestly really anxiety inducing. Good fun.
