I recently got the first game with Games with Gold and I should really burn through it I think it's fairly short. Love the style of this, not so sure about the moment to moment gameplay but as long as it doesn't outstay it's welcome I'm sure it's good enough to get you through to the end.

The depth perception and figuring out trajectory was fairly annoying in the first game for me. I really loved the art design, tho

I'm afraid of everything, but somehow I'm planning to play this and The Medium this week.

I should really just go finish Astro Bot instead.

The Art design of this game is awesome and the mood is super creepy but even watching the quick look is giving me anxiety. No way people like me will be able to play this. It would probably trigger a panic attack.

Better keep Jason a safe distance away from buttons and stickers. Don't want him glitching out or anything

Finished this today. Couple of hours longer than the first game, but still fairly short. I'd say that's understandable in this game's case, because you'd either need to come up with a *lot* of varied stuff or really stretch some already existing levels to turn this into a game that's 10-something hours long. It was also fairly cheap for me.

As for the game itself...I suppose I liked it! My complaints are fairly similar to Brad's and I also died an ungodly amount of times. The combat was crunchy in a good way when it worked, but the "don't miss or you're dead" brutality of it during certain parts really frustrated me. A good number of chase scenes had me die because of either not being able to climb fast enough or not managing to drop the weapon I was carrying to move faster.

I think I would place this maybe a bit above the first game, but mostly just because of the more varied scenery. In general, it's really just more of the same that Little Nightmares 1 did almost four years ago. The added combat was ok at parts, but as a whole not that great and the story was maybe even more vague than previously and maybe less satisfying by the end of it all.

There's a trophy for scoring a goal @brad, but you need to get the soccer ball hat on the dumpster first...

Also you can pull open the unlocked lockers by the vents.

I went under the desks and watched for where the teacher was facing to get past that part. Needs a little patience. :)

More vague story is good imo. First game's ending went in an unnecessary direction. I think I feel the same kind of generally positive reaction to the first game, but I'm a sucker for cool visuals and this game seems to have them.

Huh I could've sworn this was originally announced to have co-op. Maybe I just assumed that because they showed two characters on the screen in a bunch of trailers.

A little bummed to find out it doesn't, but it's my own fault for assuming.

I really wanted to like the first game but remember feeling quite indifferent to the gameplay. Something is drawing me to this sequel but the trial & error aspect of the gameplay is so off-putting.

If nothing else I loved the first game because of it's style. As long as the gameplay mechanics do not get in the way, in a bad way, I am looking forward to this game.

Finished this today and have to say fairly disappointed just not as good as the first game was. Has some cool moments but level design not as polished and monsters not as good as the firsts were.

For the chess puzzle you were pretty much putting black into checkmate. Pieces were Queen, King, Rook.

If you want to relive that style of school cafeteria pizza. Check out Mama Rosa's in the frozen food aisle. Though Mama Rosa's might be a bit better.

I just beat the first game today and I'd say while the story made little sense throughout, the ending was probably my favorite part of the "story" if you could even call it that. The whole thing is atmospheric as heck, but boy some of those checkpoints weren't great.
