Every day is Spelunky day. Now that the daily leaderboards work, woo.

Today I found out that the camera kills those vampires in one shot. Very useful for that alone.

I just realized that Rorie sounds almost exactly like the professor who dated in Kelly in Saved by the Bell: The College Years.

When I'm just trying to accomplish shortcuts there is no way I ever anger shopkeepers. Why risk death against a super-powered, unpredictable opponent in every single level?

@rorie have you ever tried updating the controller firmware for your Xbox controller on the PC? I had connection problems once too but never again after updating. There is an official app in the MS Store for it called: "Xbox Accessories"

I honestly did the same thing when I started the game. The Spelunky 1 muscle memory is so ingrained that it would be hard switching between the two.

Edit: Also, bone-tech: if there is a two-block stack of bones under an alcove with a chest or dog in it, you can jump-whip to break only the top of the stack, and then use the bottom bone stack do perform a diagonal jump up to the valuables.

I hope that made any sense.
