Just sayin', they never Quick Looked Fantasy Life, Citizens of Earth, or Gunman Clive 2. Yet we're here looking at bad Russian games made on the budget of a few thousand dollars at best.

Like Citizens of Earth, sure, it's a big enough release that I'm surprised they haven't done anything with it, but all the same, everybody else already has. Not nearly as many outlets have covered games like this one. If I remember correctly, Patrick was an Earthbound guy, and I feel like Ryan probably would've appreciated it too, so they would've been the pair most likely for a CoE Quick Look, but neither of them are here, unfortunately.

Darkness Assault probably has slightly worse translation than Lex Mortis, but it might be a better game. This at least seems endearingly bad in a three toilets side-by-side kind of way, and it features at least one hot jam that sounds like it was attempting to channel Jesper Kyd.

Regardless, I feel like there needs to be some sort of entity preventing games like this being sold for real money. Two dollars can buy two tacos at Jack-in-the-Box. I rest my case.
