Quick Look: Hohokum

I still don't know what this game is, but it seems like a great way to zone out.

I've been growing out my Hohokum nail just for this occasion.

These stupidly early quick looks are alright by me!!

I pre-ordered this for Vita, on trailers alone. I've been avoiding most video content because I don't actually want to know what the hell this is before I play it. I don't do this often for games.

I disagree. Every Tool fan I have ever met is "that guy".

Tool is very good, but to appreciate them you really do need to cultivate a healthy sense of irony. "That guy" who is way too into Tool exists and we've all met him. I can't blame people who lump me in with him.

@danryckert Those black crayon scratch pieces was the first thing I thought of when this QL started. Loved 'em as a kid and now I've got my son doing them from time to time.

Takes a kid a long time to lay down two full coats of crayon on a piece of paper so that's an added bonus too. Next I'm gonna teach him the "punch a bunch of pinholes in a sheet of foil and hang it over a tv screen" trick.

Beautiful game btw, not sure it's my thing, but it's nice to watch.

The only Tool I heard I actually liked. It was probably one of their more conventional Psy numbers, for the very little I heard afterwards. Somebody was playing it in the Art bld while they were doing art stuff, told me who it was while I did my job.

Just to say it, I couldn't tell who was putting me off more, the acidy impregnate-simulator or the commentary. But the game I could accept. It was good for somebody, if not me. Finally I walked away to do something positive.

Dan, I love you, but you were the wrong co-host for this quick look. Dan seemed too hyped up on Sugar and talked almost non-stop, so it was hard to appreciate what was happening on screen. Brad or Drew would've been better choices.

So glad I watched this quick look because I needed something relaxing like this to play during my holiday break. Music and art style are excellent

Next time they play Mario Party, Jeff is going to have to do that voice the entire time.

After this, I'm pretty glad that I just bought all of the games on that PSN pre-order thing that they were doing.

I get there was a lot of "down time" during this QL but it just seems really weird that Jeff and Dan talked about other games a lot other than the one they're QL-ing.

But Jeff's zen talking voice is my new favorite thing.
