If the first two infamous games didn't do much for me will second son or this change my mind?

Unless the specific reason those two better games didn't grip you was because of graphical fidelity, no.

Unless the specific reason those two better games didn't grip you was because of graphical fidelity, then no.

It was more like the game got boring after the first third.

How much non arena combat content is there in first light?

One of the worst Quick Looks Giant Bomb has ever done. They start with an annoying amount of disinterest, add in a healthy amount of bitching and moaning, then throw in some misinformation to top it all off! (it's $15, not $20).

Welcome to Giant Bomb.

I don't see so much "salt" in these comments as much as folks, mostly, politely expressing their distaste for depressing quick looks and/or content in general. Saying pithy, dickish things like, "Welcome to Giant Bomb" in response to such commentary isn't helpful either. If you think Brad is a downer lately check out the recent bombcasts as he is much more engaged and upbeat now that he has hosting duties. Jeff has been working his way through this funk for over a year now and is, imo, sounding better as of late, especially post Ryckert hiring.

This video doesn't seem that bad. To me, but with all the manic Dan content as of late it might seem a bit worse in contrast?

That's not true. I really didn't like the first two inFamous games since they were annoyingly difficult with enemies getting headshots a million miles away and generally bad mission design. Second Son was a lot more streamlined and was generally more fun to play for me. It has less side activities, but the main line missions are way better.
