Quick Look: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

I've got mixed feelings on this one. 
Underground and Most Wanted made me appreciate the open-world structure. 
This game is a looker and all, but I can see myself getting pulled out of the experience with all the static menus and loading screens. 

That very first track looked brilliant. Any driving game that has thunderstorms and does them well is an automatic buy for me. 

Unfortunately there is currently no support for any of the newer Logitech steering wheels on the PS3 version.

Paradise was a very beautiful looking game and it looks like Criterion improved upon that even more. The wet street with street lamps all working looked great.

Looks great, my driving game itch is easily satisfied though, and I prefer the Forzas and Gran Turismos

The auto spam your friends option should not be allowed by microsoft....it's kinda strange they let developers do that.,

Part 2 still owns it.

I like the game so far, but overall the the car handling and response is a bit of a pain, plus there is no car customization nor adjustment of the car performance available (like suspensions, tires, engine tune up and etc.), but then again I am gonna need some time to get used to this new format.
 
Additionally playing this game on keyboard is not so well suited, I will need to get a gamepad.

Can't wait to get this on Black Friday for 35$ buckaroos

Picked this up.  It definitely feels more in line with Need For Speed III's awesomeness than Burnout, and I like that.  So far, I'm thoroughly enjoying the shit out of the game!

This reminds me of the good old days with Need for speed!

This game really shines on PC. The console versions all look the same. I remember - the best need for speed was the one in which started with an old era Porsche and moved up. I think it was called Porsche Evolution or something like that.

Is it just me or the static drivers in this game look like Tested.com's Norman Chan?

I love how the traffic has licensed cars as well.

Just picked this up because it was on one of GB's top ten lists. I am but a sheep.

That chase music really reminds me of the music from Most Wanted.
