Quick Look: Ōkami HD

Dan and Abby are crazy. I *loved* the way you slowly built up speed in Okami because the effect of the flowers you leave behind you gets more and more pronounced. I spent a lot of time just running around aimlessly because it felt so good and the music and art was so pleasing.

Shame.

I petered out on Okami the last two times that I tried it, but fuck me if I'm not ready to try for a third. The game is so pretty and charming and I absolutely love the soundtrack and I just, like, have to see it through to completion some day.

Anybody know if the original credits are intact, or whatever? I remember hearing that they had been changed in the Wii version and that was apparently a huge deal.

Hot take: Okami is a good video game.

Good grief. The combined amount of cluelessness, even of things explained in tutorials in the game prior to where they are at in this video, is staggering.
