@potoskull: depends where you are in Persona 4. If you've gotten past the school festival (October-ish) and done the Secret Base dungeon, then you're good.

It's a shame Jeff and Vinny aren't too pleased with this game. From what I've watched in other places further in the game, I've been really enjoying it.

I don't actually hear the audio blow out on my version? At least for the battle dialogue. I'll have to listen out in cutscenes.

The voice audio sounds weird to me, kind of blown out or something but not all the time. Is this my speakers or what?

Sucks that the name length s so short, not even the canon names can fit.

I am liking the game, I like that everyone can have custom persona, and I've had no sound issues so far.

Also there is an option to have the floor and walls be drawn automatically.

No, but there are some minor spoilers. So far (3 dungeons in) they haven't directly addressed the ending of 3, but it is vaguely referenced by Margaret on several occasions towards the start of the game. The game itself involves a time rift, so the P3 characters are brought in during the middle of their story; same with the P4 characters, as can be inferred from the dialogue in the QL.

Audio definitely does not sound like this in my copy. The battle quotes are noticeably more compressed but the rest of it sounds fine.

The 3ds doesn't have the best sound output though so it's probably that plus the recording equipment.

The Persona 3 protagonist is a cool guy, man. Even if his design is pretty lame, the character did some pretty awesome shit.

This audio issue didn't happen for my copy of the game which was a retail cart, possibly an issue with the download version.

I was so happy when i realized all the GB duders, OG and new, were on the newest Bombcast. I also realized I would probably get some Jeff/Vinny-QL now, which makes me a happy camper.

@sungahymn: Eh, they seem pleased as far their tastes goes. Jeff big issue was the voices and the map... but the voices seems to be just the recording and there is an automap.

Wow, what happened to the voice audio? My retail version sounds fine for what its worth.

I'm really enjoying this game, but man I wish the turn order worked like P4. I hate not knowing who is going to go first, how can you strategize?

Also you can go into the settings and have the walls drawn in automatically.

Anyway, I played some of Etrian Odyssey 4 and this definetly seems a lot like that, which is fine, I liked the gameplay in that, even though I never finished it. And it's got a bunch of Persona flavor too, two great tastes that go well together. You could even have the story focus on the P4 cast at first, which is good for people like me that never got too far into P3.

Damn, I'll probably pick this up at some point only to play half of it before quitting.. oh well : x
