@shodan2020: Thats not an issue its a feature. It has always been super easy to mute aswell if you dont want the full experience.

@rethla: I haven't bought GW2 yet (I'm guessing that will change this weekend) but I hope and assume it has the same, incredibly easy muting features that the original had.

I've never created a match in the original, I always join, but I got the impression the match creator can select "mute all" when they start the match cause I get into a lot of matches where it seems like everyone is muted by default. Anyone know if this is true?

On top of all of this, and maybe I'm just super lucky, I have yet to encounter a single instance of offensive chatter in GW1 on Xbox One. And to be honest, hearing kids voices, even if they're being annoying, never really bothers me.

@professoress: You just press Y on the scoreboard on Xbox one to mute all, highlight the player and select mute to mute just one. Since you are talking about "creating matches" i assume you are playing garden ops which i havnt played at all really but i think its up to each player if they wanna mute or not. Some games are just silent becouse noone wants to talk ;)

edit: And yeh i totally agree that an singing kid is 1000% preferable to some raging dota player.

@rethla: I've actually never played a single round of Garden Ops :P I was questioning multiplayer creation because it seems like my mic is muted sometimes.

(not that I talk, but sometimes my son runs around yelling and I don't see the "talking" icon pop up)

I actually really enjoy hearing whatever random garbage comes onto the voice chat in multiplayer games. Maybe I just enjoy chaos.

I kinda wish I got the console version as it seems as though no one is playing the PC version.
