Quick Look: Road Show: Burnout CRASH!

Love Burnout, not quite the sequel I was looking for, but still looks like good fun.

You know, I bet if they just took out the Burnout name, no one would be getting pissed at this. It's Peggle/Pinball with a ton more explosions, and it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

They totally made out hard right before this.

I love the Crash Mode from some of the previous games and I was also born with eyes and this looks to be pretty much the basics of what Crash Mode was.. What's that? oooh, everything is different 100%! why is that exactly? oh because of the top-down view?.. are you a fucking idiot?

This might be one of the most awesome dudes ever in an Quick Look EX. So laid back combined with an awesome sense of humor.

I was thinking that this game wasn't so great until it started playing "It's Raining Men". Back on board, sold.

Kinda want to play this now just because of that guy.

I don't want to worry anyone but I think Richard Franke may have been a bit drunk!

If this guy wasn't high/tipsy I want to see a quick look EX where he is. Amazing.

If you took off the burnout name nobody would be paying attention to this game at all, so yeah the amount of anger would be minimal/non existent.
     

I'm just curious, why does Richard have his collared flipped up? Didn't that style go away in 1980?

Dayum. I was expecting comments like "That guy is obviously gay", but these comments are as gay as they come!

Anyway, that guy was great and the game looks cool.

TBH his snark british charm won through in the end. The game looks pretty fun too.

Really fun interview. Not sure if I want a game completely based on Crash Mode, especially when I really want a new Burnout game, but I could change my mind.

Well, Criterion, you have achieved the impossible. During just this one generation you have made me a huge fan and now a huge detractor. Good job.

This looks so incredibly boring. Why would they do this to crash mode and why would anyone pay money for it. They need to re-evaluate the burnout series quickly.

This would be fun for 10 minutes, after which I'd probably never play it again. Also, hooray for unnecessary Kinect controls!

I don't get what the fuss is all about, this looks awesome. I've seen a lot of people saying to make another Burnout Paradise sequel, but there's so much content in that game, I don't see how people have already run out of stuff to do in it. I think this is great because its downloadable, affordable, and allows Criterian to make more games in less time.

Looks silly and fun. Loses some of the tremendous impact and puzzle game element of the original crash mode, but still looks satisfying.

Damn i was expecting him to stop halfway through and ask Ryan: Who are you? Why am i here?  :D

People wonder why companies like Activision insist their developers make the same thing over and over.  Because when someone tries something different, everyone whines and bitches until they make the same thing again...then whines and complains  when they make the same thing over and over again.  People don't give companies that DO try new things enough credit.

Christ, I was bored before the QL even finished.

@Phished0ne: Plenty of different games coming out all the time, look at the Pax10. Just because something is different does not automatically excuse it from criticism if people feel it seems mediocre.
