Did you actually play Sleeping Dogs?

The story, characters and voice acting makes most of the rest of the genre look pretty stupid. Sure, Vinny goofs around a lot after having finished the game, but it's not the reason the game gets praise. It's the best GTA style openworld game I've played since Vice City.

That's going a bit far.

The thing about Sleeping Dogs is they just looked at a bunch of random games and said, "Let's add that cool thing into our game!" Slow motion shooting from Max Payne, air-jacking from Just Cause 2, melee combat from Batman... And it does most of these things pretty well. Just Cause 2 did environments and grapple hooks kinda almost pretty good.

Took until now for me to begin watching this, and finally, I became convinced to pick the game up. Hope it's as streaming friendly as the demo appeared to be.

Yeah, I've started watching quick looks on youtube because of this. If the new site fixes that then awesome.

For a bit there, I zoned out and listened to site talk.  But shit, the DLC goes dark.

Good stuff, once again! Now I probably should actually play the game, having bought it...

I hate Mass Effect too. Its an interactive movie. The combat sucks, the RPG elements suck, but the story is fantastic and so are the graphics. I havent even played Mass Effect 3 yet.

Glad the video got fix, this QL is too good to be lost.

This is probably my favorite DLC from the game. It's pretty short, but filled to the brim with style.
