Quick Look: Solo: Among the Sleep

game looks good.

Swedish parents enjoy filling their kids with a sense of overbearing dread, obviously. Although, my mother admitted that she used to test my knowledge of language my yelling nice things to my infant self and watching me cry, and saying sweet things in a mean tone and...watching me cry. Now days, of course, we can tease her relentlessly about that. ;)

It's funny how Jeff completely dissed people who like horror by telling them to "grow up" in the last Giant Bombcast.

I lost interest when kid heads off to Naria, here. Take the child out of the real world and you lose a lot of the point of the pov character being a toddler. The beginning in the house was good as they managed to make some ordinary environs seem spooky in the way they do when you're little and it's dark and your imagination is vivid. In lala land with no frame of reference, it's just first person Psychonauts, which i don't think is quite what they're going for...

I think the writing is gibberish on purpose seeing as toddlers can't read. Or maybe I'm looking too deep in this game.

I'd love to see you play through the whole game. ( :

This game seems incredibly short, I dropped by a guys stream thinking I would get a small taste of game but it was over in no time at all

Teddy's voice is super creepy, I can't not assume he's the real monster.

This game looks neat, kinda makes me think of Labyrinth.

Two-year olds are probably better problem solvers than most people I know, they don't let the 'proper' use for something get in the way of using it for something else.

As someone who is easily terrified and also has a lot of patience for games that thread new ground, I have to say that this was neither in any way scary nor interesting.

This just makes me want a horror game where you're really small, but not a baby. Something like Toy Story mixed with horror.

Man, Toy Story 2 was such a great game. I wonder if it holds up now that I'm older.

I'm usually pretty hesitant about playing horror games, but I guess I can make an exception...I guess.

Got about 5 min into ql before deciding I'm gonna have to play this... I don't want anything spoiled. Teddies voice seemed awfully creepy though. Kinda Chucky esque.

IS this made by a danish developer? Not many contries that uses Æ Ø and Å other than in Denmark

@antivanti: I remember when they played this on UPF the first time, I got chills when i heard that damn lullaby for the first time in 20+ years.

Got real "Silent Hill" real fast up in here. Does look interesting though and the sound design is pretty damn sweet

@arx724: is that the one on the PS1 where you played as Buzz? Because that's honestly one of my favorite games of all time.

I really, really want to play this game. I love the mechanic of moving around as a small child and I really liked the short demo I played a while back. Glad to see this is on OS X as I am in the process of saving up to buy a for real gaming PC.

I really want to play this, but it's only about 2 hours long from what I've been seeing around which is a real bummer /=. I'll probably get it eventually, but likely when it's on some kind of minor sale at least.
