Quick Look: We Are Doomed

This might be one of the quickest Quick Looks in a long time.

The GBeast needs games they can play online for us to view that take longer than 11 minutes to show off :( Where is our Bloodborne GBeast Endurance Run or The Witcher series?

How come I can 95% of the time predict if the QL which is QLed is QLed by these two QLers?

Alex sure is "all about" a lot of things. Doom, Robotron, poppin' ROMS, etc.

I was going to compliment the game on its readability. It was really clear to me what everything was just from looking.

It seems like a simple change, but I'm liking the idea that you have a limited beam that you can't just fire across the screen. Seems like you have to think about distance a little more than usual.

If you're having 2 hour Quick Looks, it's the only way to maintain a 20 min average.

@nightprowler: GBeast QLs usually come up as the early one, so its pretty easy to predict who is doing it.

This seems cool.

I really dig this game. It sort of reminds me of a Geometry Wars Retro Evolved in its simplicity. The steam version is out now. After playing a bunch of Geometry Wars 3, this handles enemy spawns and multipliers so much better.

I actually find this way more visually readable than Geometry Wars 1, which is just a visual mess of colours where I constantly lose track of myself.

This looks like a lot of fun, and looks really pretty. Great overall aesthetic and color choices. Will probably pick it up. I have no problem paying $9 for it.

I could zone out for a good hour and relax playing this.

@brol4w: I don't live in the US so I have never gotten used to the time zones, but it's just the game title and thumbnail itself that gives it away for me.

9 bucks is waaaay too much for this. This seems like a $1 game, maybe $5 at the absolute most. It seems pretty cool, but that price is terrible.

I only ever like these games if there's upgrades or over-the-top weapons. I've been spoiled with RPG progression for all my genres.

Watching this after all the P.T. hooplah is interesting, given the way Vinny and Alex talk about an apocalyptic future where you couldn't download X ever again.

That what I was thinking. As @Alex said, there's not much to this beyond what was shown, so I feel like I'd check out a few levels then never get back around to playing ever again.
