Is it just me or is there someone else who without real reason cannot watch any of GBEast Quick Looks? For some time now I just feel that all East QL are really boring, uninteresting and I cannot stand listening to Alex. I know Vinny, Alex and Austin are really good, but for some unspecified reason I just can't watch QL or listen to their bombcast anymore... Should I do something with this or wait and check from time to time their stuff? It keeps bugging me for some time...

Edit: Huh. Think I'm actually going to buy this at some point. Enough Attitude Era stuff to keep me interested, without just being '13 again. Just hope that four-man TLC matches still become beautiful broken chaos as the physics and AI freak out.

When they describe wrestling on a day to day basis on GB, it sounds kinda alright, like it could be interesting. But when I see something like this...I just.....oh man........it's real bad....

Really glad Alex was behind this QL instead of Dan, to be honest. Dan just gets too mired in referencing shit nobody knows or cares about instead of mocking wrestling like the good lord intended. Not a personal knock against Dan by any means I love/hate the guy as much as anyone.

I haven't played a wrestling game in years and while the amount of content seems great, lack of story creation mode (seriously, how is that still missing) and the unicorn of an actual game where it's treated like the soap opera it is instead of an actual competition with health meters keep me from buying it.

Maybe they did this in last year's game, but holy crap did they re-time all the animations for moves? 2K14 has a lot of stuff carried over through the years that either have janky animations or weird timings that make them look bad, but I recognize a lot of moves here from the older games that actually look fluid and normal.

It's like, while they're busy complaining about this not being the same weird fantasy game that will never exist every year, there's a lot of subtle improvements you wouldn't really notice unless you've played the previous games a lot.

Damn! As somebody who's not usually really into wrestling games, this actually looks pretty cool. The whole objective-based mechanic is really interesting, and I like the idea of rewarding they player for putting on a show.

In some respects it kind of looks almost like it's half-way there, but I like the direction they're taking things. Not sure I'll pick this up, but I'll be really interested to see if they continue this trend next year, and if they do, to see how they expand on it.

Someone needs to put the Ryckert face sign in the crowd...

I was legit happy to see Alex do a QL of this as he went over pretty much everything I wanted to know about the game. As much as I like Jeff and Dan, they spent far too long talking about the roster in last year's game, going over the community stuff, and talking about the lack of create-a-story.

Nice! I'm glad to hear Alex talk about wrestling games again. He seemed like the go to wrestling guy for Gamespot for all those PS2 and Gamecube wrestling games.

Played a couple of hours of this game. A few minor notes, the crowd reactions are WAAAY better, the animations are WAYYYY better and the career mode is WAYYY better. But it still has problems :(

Primo Streets of Rage 2 reference, Austin. Super solid.

The same issue Alex has with the career is in NBA 2K16 as well. If you pre ordered the game, you got enough VC to make your guy not pathetic to start out, but otherwise you had a super low rated player getting drafted in the first round. Anyone around your draft position would be a 70 or so and you were like a 55. It was possible to grind it out there too but certainly wasn't fun to start.

My brother plays all these games so I asked him if he had any situations like the Tyler Breeze one, and the exact same thing happened to him. Which may mean it is intentional, but he said it felt like a bug to him. It looked like it was a bug to me, too.

Ken Shamrock's model looks like it is wearing a muscle suit. Looks really bizarre.

And to answer your question, almost all the moves were re-done last year for 2K15, what they couldn't get to they did this year while adding a lot of new stuff.

Oh, and a lot of the NXT guys did their own motion capture, so wooo.

Tyler Breeze has been on the main roster for a week, and he's fucking done with NXT already.

There was some true madness shown here.
