Quick Look: Resident Evil Village

this is already way too scary for me. holy shit lol

I was curious from watching this if they recast Mia, they apparently did not so I guess that might just be the lack of weird hair and her not trying to kill Ethan that she doesn't quite feel like the same character.

But they totally recast Chris Redfield again which I mean the previous actor only showed up briefly in the last game but it does kind of feel like the Capcom voice acting problem that is well documented with characters like Frank West where they can change them so much between entries that they can often not come off as the same character.

I've been here since 2008 and you guys have been with me the whole time. High school, university, my first job...

Please don't disappear from the internet forever! It honestly feels like losing a friend right now.

It was mainly the GBeast crew that got me into Giant Bomb, so I'll admit I haven't watched as much of Brad's stuff as I have Vinny's and Alex's. But ever since those Astroneering streams with Vinny, I've found Brad extremely relatable - his succumbing to "space madness" was one of those "thank god it's not just me" moments that truly helped get me through the pandemic - and going back through "Breaking Brad" has provided some of my favorite Giant Bomb moments so far.

Thank you, Brad and Vinny. You do fine work, and it's greatly appreciated.
