Drone Swarm looks complicated.

@femaletanks: Yes, it is a lot to deal with. That first mission was just something I missed, at least (although it was super confusing until I figured out what I was doing wrong).

Nifty. Missed this yesterday but checked out drone swarm during one of the steam demo whatevers. Aesthetics are amazing, cutscenes are a whole new level of stupid that wraps back around to annoying, and controls very much feel like this is a mobile game on PC

But pretty curious if it "gets good" later on

I honestly have no idea what happened there. This webcam is making the whole streaming process a bit more funky than I'd like.

Hey Rorie, sorry if you're already aware, but if you go into options you can add a instant restart line to the pause menu. This will allow you instantly restart at the beginning of 1-1 (or 1-4 if you start with the shortcut) with 2 button presses instead of having to go back to the main room and re-enter the door everytime.

You can also choose whether hitting instant restart is something you have to confirm or not, to prevent menuing yourself to death.

@gundato: I'm curious about that too, and yes, the cutscenes and story feel like they could've been replaced by a splash screen or two with better writing and I don't think it would've been worse. Even FTL just kind of throws you in there with minimal explanation, and I think that could've worked too.

I'm pretty sure I did that in the video! I just wish there was a way to instantly start at 1-1 from when you launch the game!

Rorie, keep doing streams of Spelunky 2, it comforts me to see people making the exact same mistakes as I do over and over and over and over and over...this was a great stream.

I always love a Spelunky stream!

The damage conduits are an upgrade you picked up earlier, supposedly it replaces lost drones as your hull takes damage. No idea how strong the effect is, it's hard to notice among all the things going on.

Hm, I wonder if the upgrade progression is randomized or was changed after launch, I don't have any of those weapon modules and I'm further than you are.

It honestly is a crime that Rorie is the only one on GB that’s still into Spelunky 2. I have a feeling they’re gonna forget about this game come GOTY season.

50 seconds in and the video is already great. rorie is under rated and under utilized

I thought "Breakpoint" was shorthand for "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint". Thought to myself "wow interesting I wonder if he is going to play the new stuff?"
