An old engineering internship I had back around 2000, one of the other interns/classmates would go on "non-smoking breaks"

I always interpreted the flip the cigarette into your mouth trick as just a show of how tough you are to put it out in your mouth, often as an act of "defiant compliance" when someone tells them to put out their cigarette.

Also I certainly didn't notice it when I watched the episode, but when I reread the episode description I saw that the barber is named Khan to go with the kid Chaka at the start.

The comedic episodes are some of my favorites in the series. Yeah, the stand system unlocked the potential for battles to unfold in the most elaborate and intricate ways. But how about using them for goofy hijinks?

If you guys are into weird and funny anime laughs, you could look into the laughs in One Piece lol. There are compilations of them on YouTube. I'm a big fan of some of the ones I've seen in the series so far (I'm at about the current halfway point.)
