Oh man, I don't know if I'll stick with it long term but I could see getting VERY into that co-op. That's an amazing idea.

I did not realize this was a stand alone thing. I thought it was Tetris Effect with added modes. Unless I just missed it but does it not include the "story" mode and Tetris Effects other modes?

From all the Tetris videos I watched he seems like the nicest guy you could imagine.

This quicklook was mean. I was sold right when the regular connected mode started and then the 3v1 thing showed up and I was blown away. I'm so ready for this, but also a bit bummed that I gotta wait for it on my PC copy (unless it comes to gamepass for PC?)

As an owner of the PC version on EGS, it's a bit disappointing that I'd have to wait for the update. But at least it seems like it'll be out on PC Game Pass, so I can play it there until next year.

@killerclaw: Was a disappointment when it was a PS4 exclusive too when it first came out...but now I can at least try it out and see what all the hubbub was about it.

Somehow they found yet another cool new thing to do with Tetris. Co-op mode is not something I thought I even wanted, but it really does seem neat.

@nukesniper: It will indeed be on PC Game Pass from what I know.

Also I think the numbers Brad and Ben were confused about were just a score differential - negative indicated you were behind your opponent by that amount.

@nukesniper: PC/Xbox same day, Playstation etc is in 6months.

Only stipulation is that the PC version has to be the Xbox Store/GamePass version. I don't believe the Epic version on PC is getting the update until Playstation does.

Does this also include the “single player” from Tetris effect? That’s what I was most interested in as an Xbox owner.

Yep, they mention it a bit earlier in the video. It has base Tetris Effect, as well as all of these additional multiplayer modes.

I think this will become my official Tetris to play with friends. (Except when I wanna see Doctor Dog, the dog doctor.)

The amount of exclusivity this game has had is ridiculous, still waiting for a Steam version, glad it'll have multiplayer when it does eventually come to it.

Man, I actually said "wow" out loud at that co-op boss mode. Seems really cool!

The Tetris Grand Master games had some combined board modes, those weren't turn based though, players had to drop their pieces simultaneously.

This rules, guess i'm going to uninstall the EGS version and play it on game pass until next summer.

Some very cool original modes in there. That said, i'm a little dissapointed that they made a multiplayer mode with characters that have their own abilities, like a Tetris Battle Gaiden, but chose to not do a modern version of that. But i can't complain too much when there are so many inventive modes put in this.

No, it's just all of Tetris Effect - still just one program. They just didn't show it, cuz the single player stuff is all the same. But it's new to Xbox. The new stuff to everyone is the MP stuff they showed off here.

If you want to play these new modes at launch. Or you can wait a few months and play it when your version gets the free upgrade.

Tetris seems like the kind of game that I think I'm good at, but once I get a taste of competitive Tetris I realize that actually I'm trash.
