UFC fans on Giant Bomb; the Silent Majority

Wrath of the Lamb does a few things to the game. There's alternate versions of each stage, with harder enemies and new bosses, that you can find from the start. There's a bunch of new items which are pretty rad and add a lot of variety. There's also 2 new levels added to the end of the game; however, you cannot access either of them until you've beaten Mom's Heart 9 times. After beating the Heart 9 times, you unlock Sheol, which is the final level of the vanilla game, and the Cathedral, which is a new level added by WotL. (After beating the Cathedral 6 times, you unlock the item you need to access the true final level after the Cathedral.)

So, you can only really get to the true end of the game after you grind Mom's Heart a few more times. Really, it's ok to install Wrath of the Lamb now, as you've seen a majority of the content from the vanilla game, and you're probably prepared for the harder alternate stages and bosses that the expansion contains. Good luck!

As much as I love the soundtrack, I find that having Babymetal going lightly in the background makes this something special.

what a season... what a season it has been.

I came for the gaming videos, I stayed for the Cain Velasquez references.

Patrick needs to play this in Fullscreen mode and he won't have these FPS issues.

I am perpetually amused by Patrick continually forgetting that every world, including the last, have two stages.

I want to see Risk of Rain instead of Binding for a while.

I do highly enjoy this playing of The Binding of Isaac, which I think is an incredible game, have sunk many hours into and am stoked that Patrick is giving it it's time to shine, here comes the but, but what if Patrick chose from a pool of hand selected roguelikes? There is no reason that he should limit himself to one game, aside from the need for mastery and developing skills which would likely be slowed down from constant switching. However at this point I feel that now Patrick has a pretty good grip on all of these games and that it would be a good idea to randomly feature: The Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain and Spelunky throughout the week. Anyways there's my two cents. Thank you for doing this feature Patrick I really enjoy seeing a side of gaming that most major sites don't show: the development of the player throughout multiple playthroughs of arguably some pretty skill based games! Keep up the good work duder!

Holy shit, that slot machine giving him multiple health upgrade pills was amazing. Ive never seen a slot machine that good, and Ive played the game 130+ hours

There was a lot of monotony when Patrick was playing the slots, but this has been by far my favorite of the series. All the items stacked to make this a really ridiculous OP run by the end.
