The last half hour of this podcast was just incredible. The trivia was amazing - I think I got 3 right, at best.

I got mad when they made fun of the new Classic NES box. Do they not realize that it uses identical box design to the original release of the NES?

That whole Pokemon discussion was hard to listen to. I know GB doesn't have a ton of employees, but you'd think someone would have a decent amount of experience with Pokemon. This whole discussion made you guys feel out of touch to me. The whole "I can't believe that's a Pokemon" thing was old a long time ago. Also, there are many things about Pokemon that make sense when you actually know their context. The trash bag and key chain pokemon make just as much sense as the magnet, pokeball-shaped, and skull and crossbones pokemon from Red/Blue.

That real lazy Pokemon design complaining really bugged me, man. It's not clever or original to talk about how Trubbish/Garbodor is somehow rushed. The whole idea of Pokemon is that they're supposed to be easy for children to understand, and relate to things in their real life. They can understand what the Pokemon are supposed to be/do based on real-life counterparts. A bag of trash is a thing a kid understands. Ice Cream, Keys, Dogs: all things kids understand. It's not like the original 151 are that good. So many evolution where a single monster just becomes a group of that monster, or things like Muk representing the idea of pollution. It's much more fun to have them all be grounded in reality. If anything modern Pokemon are much more well designed than most Gen 1 Pokemon.

So the new Call of Duty is just going with what the last Killzone single player did. I felt they should have done more space in that last Killzone it was a neat mechanic.

A tiny NES? That'll never work.
