Oh God... I sorta want to listen to this, but at the same time it's always a nightmare for me to listen to in-depth conversations concerning Resident Evil because I always want to chip in with my own thoughts =X

Barry Burton is now the only one who can save the Resident Evil franchise.

I love the Metroid Prime soundtrack.

I always have the same urge when Resident Evil is being discussed. Still going to listen to this though.

After finishing an 8-4 podcast I always wish they were weekly instead of biweekly.

I'm okay with RE6 being flawed because there are some trainwrecks that I am willing to witness. I will most likely get a lot of entertainment playing through RE6 and making fun of it with a co-op partner. I think a lot of complaints are due to people not being very good players, but most complaints are justified (for example, people not using the roll/dodge mechanic but complaining things jump at the player).

I won't tolerate the same atmosphere for RE7. If Capcom continues this franchise its time for a reboot.

This is pretty much how I feel. I was hoping against hope it would turn out good, but now I just want to gaze into the abyss.

I don't normally listing to 8-4 and wanted to see what fans of the series thought, see if it lined up with Brad and Patrick's assessment. Sad to see there is consensus.

I like to look at the 8-4 podcast as a sort of bridge between Western and Japanese gaming interests. A great show for those of us who would not otherwise seek out Japanese games/culture. I love listening to the show because it's like an eastern version of the bombcast, like the bombcast of Japan. Sure, there's no tasting energy drinks (not the GB does that much anymore) but it's a great show w/ guys who work in the industry and are passionate about games, love to laugh about random shit and get into intelligent discussions about the state of the industry over there. I've learned some cool shit about Japan and SNES history on the show. Not essential but interesting. Anyways, my point here is that I'm interested to see how our 8-4 brethren have reacted to the RE6 criticism. We all know how Brad and other western reviewers felt. Can't wait to listen to Mark and the gang talk about their reaction to the matter, and their thoughts on the game. Holy crap, this comment is really long.

The game doesn't walk you through all the roll/dodge mechanic, but it's clearly listed on the controls

Why would you ever look at the control screen? It's not like it tells you basic information you'd want to know. Just wait for a loading screen to tell you what all the buttons do! One by one! It's how real men play!

Shots fired from Japan! It's too bad the controls for RE6 sound terrible. I actually really enjoyed RE5 (played the whole thing coop) and was looking forward to RE6, but now I don't think I'll even gamefly it.

last podcast had me worried about the possible future direction of this podcast.

not anymore, so glad you guys were back to being chill and how should i say got your "flow" back. (been listening to you guys from the very start, so id like to think i know how you guys "flow")

and riccardi wasn't a douche this episode and gave a pretty even handed opinion on stuff.

nice episode guys, good to know the attitude from the last episode was just due to TGS exhaustion.

We left the camp after we had inoculated the children for polio, and this old man came running after us and he was crying. He couldn't see. We went back there, and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember ... they all applauded this 8-4 podcast.
