The problem with spicy foods, is that the new-ish trend is just to go for heat, and forget about the flavor, which is a shame, because the BEST spicy dishes/foods have a balance between the two. I love Carolina Reapers and a couple of the newer breeds that don't have designations yet other than being varied types of Carolina Reaper, but almost all CR sauces don't involve the flavor or CR.

Man that orange Halo 4 Game Fuel was the shit. I drank so much of that stuff I probably completely rotted my insides. On the plus side I managed to win a 'free' copy of Halo 4 from one, so it all worked out.

I had ketchup + mayo together when I was around 10 years old. They had a pump at Disney World that had them combined. I tried it with french fries and was amazed how great it was. I still do it sometimes at places that have a pump of ketchup and mayo available.

Man, it makes me sad to hear they just throw away some of that promo stuff. I love that stuff. I would say at least donate it so someone who cares can end up with it.

I ate dog in 1980 and it tasted good with a few beers. Though these days, I only eat Salmon and a porterhouse steak, maybe twice a week. Mostly plant based for the past 25 year and my health is loving it.

Speaking of brain, just last week, I found a restaurant in southwestern Missouri, with pig brain on the breakfast menu. They described it as being fried and cooked with scrambled eggs. I passed on it.

It's good as hell, and yes typically the ratio is like 50% inedible pepper flakes and the rest chicken, peppercorns (the best part), onions, and garlic slices. My go-to order is usually a plate of this, hot & sour wontons, mapo tofu, and a veggie like sauteed bok choy. Mmmmmm-mmm.

I still have the Nuka Cola Quantum branded Jones Soda for Fallout 4. I thought I was going to drink it after beating the game and going for the platinum trophy. It ended up taking me two years to play through the main game and all of the DLC. I manage to keep at room temperature and away from sun light. I am not sure how the label got a blueish stain. I'm still undecided if I should drink it, sell it or hold on to it until it goes bad.

Wait, are frog legs not a thing on the West Coast? When they're talking about weird foods, Jeff mentions that. Fried frog legs aren't necessarily the most common thing, but you can relatively easily find them in the Midwest and South.

Worst money I've ever spent on a game is the lifetime sub, for $300, on Hellgate:London...never again will I buy a lifetime sub.

HotSpot has to be the show I look forward to most each week. Nothing like being an old dude who grew up just as the Internet was becoming a thing listening to other old dudes talk about how it used to be. Keep up the good work!
