Would really recommend The Room VR. One of the best VR experiences I've had.

I totally see what Vinny is saying, he wants the puzzle boxes to be something you could build if you had infinity time and patience.

Mud room was always the room between the garage and kitchen growing up, my grandparents had a vestibule.

These games really are fantastic. The puzzles themselves are very much secondary to what I like about them though. As the series has gone on they've morphed into quasi-Eldritch/Lovecraftian horror games, and they actually managed to develop an interesting story and maintain an intriguing through line through all of them. I really like the foreboding atmosphere and sense of eeriness they create around the whole thing. It's not scary per se, just creepy and unsettling and it really works.

The talk about what the Victorian era is reminds me of when Dan asked "was that in America?" And Vinny laughed and laughed and said "oh Dan, you moron, that was England in like the 1600's or something." You don't get to laugh at Dan for asking that when you think the Victorian era was around the 1600's, lol.

I love these games. They feel like the evolution of those I Spy books I adored when I was a kid.

This doesn't sound like something I actually said to Dan. Also, I believe this game takes place in the early 1900s.

One of the only game series I found worth owning an iPad to play

Seeing this QL pop up caused me to finally play The Room Old Sins on my iPad since it's just been sitting there for about 3 years. Best installment yet! They keep really knocking it out of the park and building a really fascinating world.

I love this series, I hope we get more VR installments, there's something so immensely satisfying about how their puzzle design works in VR.

I'm in the same boat as Vinny on the magic but a bit further. The magic twist turned me off quite a bit when I tried the second game, and it felt like a more significant component. Was hopeful but not for me at least. Thanks for the QL!
