I feel like there must be a job that exists that is basically this game. Organising things, fulfilling quickly, nice graphical interface.

God, I can't tell if this game would be the most relaxing or the most anxiety-inducing thing ever for me.

I really like this game. Surprisingly, not as stressful as it could be.

I think I'm almost done with the game and it sure gets a bit hectic with regards to space. So many things and some just sit there unrequested!

Also, Vinny: the overview is I think on the upper left. It's like a poster, you have to go and interact with it. The timelapse thing is also pretty fun to watch.

5 minutes in and I have no idea what this game is.

Abby is usually pretty good at explaining games in QLs, but this one I feel like the opening part where she actually explains the game was cut off or something

I mean, it's a warehouse. I can't tell if you don't understand the concept of a warehouse, or if you don't understand that this game is trying to show a warehouse from the top down?

I beat this game and hoo boy, abby is going to have to adjust her organizational style if she wants to get much further in the game. grouping by color is not a bad idea, but having things all strewn out like that is making me upset just watching

Man I'd love to see Vinny play with his warehouse and oragnization. When he was talking about it the other day I wasn't picturing icons, but more sprites of objects. Now seeing it the color thing seems so natural. I think it'd be fun to see what he does with all the different stacks.

People keep talking about this and piquing my interest but I'm almost immediately sold by this QL. The upgrades in particular are what I needed to see to be confident I'll love the game, and co-op mode sealed the deal.

I'm playing this game on Switch. I too have trouble with the controller picking up the wrong thing. When I push the controller to try to pick up something on the left or right, it tends to push blocks instead of picking them up. It really frustrates me.

I'm not color-blind, but I use Vinny-style content sorting rather than color sorting. My biggest category has been "shapes I might see in a powerpoint" :D

Anyone else have a problem with GB videos?

I often have an issue where I'll hit the play button to watch a video and all I hear is the audio. If I hit play again I get the video playing properly but I can still hear the audio from the first time I hit play.

Happens on both Firefox & Safari.

The thing I like about this game is that it's very reminiscent—in concept, look, and name—to a game that would be on like a Windows 95 PC. I can picture a pixel art version of this that would be packed in with Chip's Challenge, Rodent's Revenge, and SkiFree, and 20 years later you're like "remember Wilmot's Warehouse?"

For the non color blind, it seems like colors is the way to go since there are just more and more things being added. glancing at a topdown view at a color map has to be easier than remembering not only where your arbitrary categories are, but what's in them.

Not what we're looking at, but what the game is. Until the orders start coming in, we're given no clue as to why Abby's organizing these things.

The first words spoken are "we have deliveries to make." And first thing she says when she starts to explain the game, a few seconds later, is "this is an organizational game." If someone can't connect those dots, that's on them, not Abby.

@kibbleagain: Yeah, I had this problem a bit back.. I'm guessing you're using the YouTube player which I think loads the YouTube video over the regular one, after the first has already loaded. So what's happening is you're playing the original and then the YouTube video loads over the top of it, and you're getting audio from the GB video that first loaded. When the YouTube player loads quickly, it's hard to recreate it (took me a bunch of tries this morning so stuff is loading very quickly for me). Solution is to either wait just a few more seconds before pressing play or go back to GB player.

@flashflood_29: If you heard "This is an organizational game where you make deliveries" as "Some people are going to arrive at a counter and ask for some of these things which you'll have to take over to them" then you're better at comprehension than me.

It looked to me like the game was about sorting things into categories and getting scored on it, like whether you missed any and stuff. I can't think of any other examples of "organizational games" but it seems like organizing in this is just to help you know where stuff is to retrieve it later.

@eccentrix: I mean that's literally what deliveries mean so idk. Hearing deliveries and then seeing/hearing the organization mechanic makes it pretty darn clear to me. My only point is that Abby made it clear enough and it's on the viewer if they can't comprehend the easy to connect dots. Shouldn't blame Abby just cause they didn't understand it. Besides, 5 minutes in and the gameplay is very clear, not necessary to go into the comments and complain about Abby for it.

@rocketfalls: On Waypoint Radio, not a GB pod. Can't figure out which ep but it was around the time the game came out.

Or... maybe that recent Beastcast with Austin?

Ok, I can't remember at all, lol.

Watched this QL recently which made me instantly go and buy this game. Arranging and organizing and ever-growing collection of things... SO my style! Even the "stressful" delivery sections can be soothing and satisfying when you have a nicely laid out warehouse and know exactly where to go to pick up the orders.

Picked this game up on Steam and here is some additional information I can add to the conversation:

Warehouse Arrangement

I cannot fathom organizing solely by color, arranging by type/dept is most definitely an easier way to go (IMHO) - food area (subdivide by savory/sweet), gem/jewelry area, paint/hardware area, clothing area... just makes so much more sense in my brain to know where to store stuff and where to pick it up. Even the tutorial kind of nudges you this way and I'd be hard pressed to get past later levels when only sorting by coloring.

Grouping / Categorizing (Manifest)

Related note - one of the biggest things missed in the QL, which ALSO helps greatly with organization. When you are in the Manifest area between deliveries that shows which items you have unlocked and which will be added in the next delivery - you can DRAG and MOVE those items around and group them more logically on the overview page so you can start to organize at the meta level as items unlock and decide where you want to group collections of items. HUGE help that I wish they would have pointed out.

Keyboard / Mouse Control (Big Thumbs Up)

I find the keyboard/mouse combination so much easier to select items with. Double click to grab all of one thing, right click to drop everything, click any particular item to drop it off or anything connected to it. WASD with QE to rotate... it's a breeze once you get the hang of it. I had a much harder time with the controller setup. YMMV, but definitely at least try the non-controller option and see how it feels.

In Summary

QL did its job and sold me immediately on a game I might have not come across. So happy I found this one, it's an OCD organizer's cup of tea... vat of tea even.
