Voicemail Dump Truck Wolf Island with Jeff and Ben

This week we talk about our desert island foods, standards of modern games, and break off a piece of incredible sonic music for you, our dear listener.

If you think the GIant Bombcast spends too much time talking about Not Video Games, you're going to hate this thing.

"Supremely underwhelming" is the proper description of Jimmy Johns. Fast, and generic to the point of near tastelessness are the virtues of JJ. You will never have a bad time with Jimmy, so long as you aren't looking to have a good time either.

No matter how hard they tried, Sega and/or the studio would never be able to make a new "classic" video game song better than Wreck It Wreck-It Ralph by B&G.

I like Jimmy Johns, but it's purely based on the speed of the transaction. The sandwiches are extremely adequate.

On the subject of tie-in songs clearly reading the Wikipedia entry for their subject matter, that’s how “Deepest Bluest” by LL Cool J starts. But then it becomes clear that he thinks the movie is about human-shark hybrids in later verses, which is a much more interesting plot than Deep Blue Sea has.

Also, “the ocean is haunted” is my single favorite throwaway line in a song ever.

@beforet: A stunningly accurate description. I had it once or twice and was amazed at how bland it was.
